Merry Christmas

Here's our card for Christmas 2009...

A few Christmas additions...

Dumbo Ornament since she rode that ride at Disneyland this year.

Mickey Mouse in the front yard. Taylor loves this!

Our family ornament that my sister got for us.

  •  I have a new appreciation for ornaments this year and I want to make sure that I get a few sentimental ones each year. My cousins wife's mom (sorry if I confused you) had a really cute idea that I want to do for Taylor. At her bridal shower she gave her a box of all of the ornaments they had gotten for her each year growing up. I loved the idea!

  • I am so excited to see Taylor's reaction to things this year.

  • I hope that everyone has a very Merry Christmas!

Santa

Here's how Santa went! We both didn't even think she would be scared because she loved the characters at Disneyland, loved scary Halloween masks...we were SO WRONG!!!

After, I kept asking her if she wanted to go back and see Santa and she said, "NO." She was trying to give him back his candy cane. Maybe next year.

The Living Desert

Taylor and I went to the Living Desert today with my sister, Gavin, Allison, and Emma. It was really nice weather and fun to see the animals. Taylor was pretty tired today because her nap wasn't long enough, but we got through it. My Nana met up with us for lunch and it was so nice to visit with her because we don't get to see her enough. Here are a couple pics of the three babies...

Gingerbread Men

We let Taylor decorate cookies this morning. Vons had the neatest little kit that came with everything you need for so cheap. I wasn't sure how Taylor would do, but she loved it. She likes doing this kind of stuff now. You will see the progression of how it turned into eating the candy and no more decorating.

She started noticing it was candy...

Thought she would give it a try...

Jimmy tried one to make sure they were okay...

no more frosting...just eating...

two hands at a time...

This is where we stopped. She laid her head on the high chair and kept eating candy... all done!

Santa Hats

This was so cute tonight. I bought Taylor this hat at Wal Mart and we came home and found Gage's santa hat in the bottom of her toy box from last year. I feel sorry for him because now he must wear that hat all times especially if she wears hers. Gage isn't thrilled about it.

Gage is her best friend, really. Her whole world revolves around him and what he's doing. It's so cute.

Last year...Gage wasn't excited then either.

Remember this from last year???

She is just so darn cute! It's hard to believe that was a year ago and now she's 20    months...time is going by so fast.

Early Christmas Get Together

                                                         Taylor and her Great Grandma
We decided to get together early with my dad's side of the family since some of them will be in Korea for the holidays and we will all be busy as usual. This way we could all make it (most of us). Everyone came to my house and Eric made panini's for all of us. (I can't get this back above the picture.)

These were the grandkids that could make it. There are six more that couldn't make it.

Our Grandma

Taylor and Gavin's entertainment for most of the day!

Our favorite aunts! Our only aunts on that side :)
Thanks for coming! They love to read my blog...love you guys.

Eric and Tanner. Eric was our cook for the day!

Aunt Penny's Family...the only family photo I got.

Christmas Pictures

This was all I got from JC Penny. It's so hard to get pictures there for me :( I do think these were very cute. Taylor just wants to play around on all the props and not sit still the whole time and do what they tell her. They are such little rascals when together!

I literally hid M&Ms in the tree to get her to do this. Then when I they finally got her to smile her mouth was all blue from candy. I won't do that next time.

Family Pictures

My sister and I tried to take each others pictures so that we could make our Christmas cards. Of course it was freezing! We were quick, but we got a few good ones. Jimmy and I found this really neat little field area by our house. We got a lot of cute pictures of Taylor. I made her little outfit wth some help from Tawny. I think she looked very cute, just felt bad that she was so cold.

Some of them weren't perfectly in focus, but I loved the picture.
