I took Taylor to get her pictures done about 4 weeks ago. It's just taken me a while to get them posted. This time she did not like taking pictures. She whined and sucked her thumb almost the whole time, then when we finished she was all happy and in a good mood.

Taylor's Newest Trick
Well, Taylor has finally mastered rolling onto her stomach. On and off for a month or so, she rolls over from back to stomach and sometimes from stomach to back. In the last week, she thinks that if she is on her back there is some rule that she must instantly roll onto her stomach. Then she gets really mad because she can't get back over. Last Sunday night she decided to roll onto her stomach at 3:30am!! She has never woken up in the middle of the night since she started sleeping through. So, I jumped up and looked into the monitor to see what was wrong. Nothing wrong, she just didn't want to be on her stomach. Then, I went and flipped her over and went back to bed. Then, again, a few minutes later, she did it again. So we left her for a few to see if she would flip back over, but she didn't , so Jimmy went and flipped her over. Then she cried for a while before going back to sleep. She hasn't done it in the middle of the night anymore, but she does it all day. She tries to take a nap and suck her thumb and rub her head (while on her stomach) and then she gets mad. She does it over and over and over. After about a hour of this when we got home today, I strapped her in her swing and she finally fell asleep. I'm trying to leave her so she can learn, but she just gets so frustrated. I hope she learns to go back the other way soon.
One more little trick....she giggled really hard last Friday!! It came out of the blue and it was the cutest thing ever. We spend a lot of time every evening to try and get her to giggle and she won't do it. Jimmy came around the corner the other night and he was hilarious to her! She giggled and giggled. It seemed like she figured out how t do it and then she forgot. She hasn't really giggled since then. I hope she does more of that soon...talk about melting your heart!!
