This Weekend

We had such a nice laid back weekend. Friday after work we went ot the park with Danielle, Linkyn, Taylor and Gavin. I didn't get any pictures because I don't think of things like that before work on Friday mornings! All I think about is the weekend. It was nice weather and the kiddos had a lot of fun. Saturday, Jimmy, Taylor and I went to lunch, which has gotten so much more enjoyable. Taylor is at the point of just sitting on her knees in the booth and she behaves so much better that way. She thinks she is way too much of a big girl for a high chair and a booster is always a problem. Then we headed over to Borders to let Taylor get some new books. We are all a little burned out of the same books we have been reading and it was Educator's week, so they were a good deal :) This is the book I got...

Jenna's dr. had recommended it and I really like it. I made four different purees today and Taylor ate one already. She loves vegetables...I am guilty of not always offering as many as I should. This has some really neat ideas in it.

Saturday night we got to go spend some time with these girls..
LIFELONG friends! Literally. Our moms were pregnant and best friends when all of us were born. One of these days I am going to find baby pictures of us and post them. I have to find them first. Mary (in the orange) is getting married in June :) Very exciting.

Taylor and Gavin loved all of the toys at Mary's house. Taylor especially loved all of the real make up that her nieces have. She was so into it the entire time.
Nothing wrong wtih bright blue sparkly lipstick right?
She is such a girl!
They played a lot of babies and chalk.

This morning when Taylor went down for her nap, I headed out to grocery shop. I had to get things for my new recipes. When I got home Taylor was up helping Jimmy do yard work. This is what he had her outside looking like...
Wo---oh! Holy bangs and left over hairsprayed pig tail hair from the night before! Cute though!
And oh...the outfit!!

A onesie and crocs with socks! Apparently, she was NOT wearing those Crocs without socks when he tried. She totally posed and said, "Cheeeeeeese" right here.

Later, Gage HAD to have a bath. Poor dog was in desperate need!

He wasn't thrilled.

Now he is all nice and clean and he can see again because I cut his bangs.
Then I cooked a whole bunch and now I have to grade a whole bunch of papers, but it will all be okay because....
5 MORE DAYS UNTIL SPRING BREAK!!!!!

I'm A Little Bothered!!!

I had a comment from someone today (last night actuallly) from Taylorrocks. Who is this I must ask? I am a little confused because this person told me that they edited some pictures of Taylor and they wanted me to look at them and here is the link...  http://rocksandgum.blogspot.com/. When I went there, it's a picture that I have taken of Taylor as the header along with a bunch of other pictures off of my blog, only edited again by her. What??????????? Who are you?????????? I don't recognize your picture and I find it wierd that you created a brand new blog with pictures of my baby!

Teagan and Taylor

Robyn (my sister in law) and I planned on taking pictures of the girls last weekend. We haven't done this yet since they were born, but we should have! They looked like little dollies in their matching outfits.

They had so much fun out there even though it felt like 115 degrees!

I have to totally give credit to Anna because she mentioned baby chicks and I loved it. Of course, Robyn, of all people, has baby chicks (and every other animal)! She raises them (and sells them I think). We had no idea what to do with them, but Taylor was in love and it was so cute to see her with them.

Teagan was telling Taylor how to do it.

Ahhh! Melts my heart.

I got so many cute pictures of these girls!

Fun with Horses

Taylor got invited to go to a little kid horse event with the Gorham's. We woke her up from her nap so that we could get there on time and this is what happened...

We rushed to get in there and put a helmet on her and her Uncle Jeremy jumped up on the horse to take her around the barrels and she got really spooked. I think it was a little too much too fast. I am sure that if she warmed up to the idea for a few minutes she would have been fine. She normally loves this stuff and never gets afraid. So, she got down and she was fine. She still had so much fun hanging out at this place.
Cute girls!

She would rather walk the horse.

Jimmy took her for a ride. He said he didn't remember the last time he was on a horse. He looks like a natural to me. I think he's trying to hide that he's a cowboy.

He had on his cowboy boots.

Taylor feeding the cows.

She loves this stuff. Good thing we have family for her to get to do it.

Better than any kind of toy...she would have done this all day!

It's almost her birthday...

She's almost two! Where has the time gone? Her outfit matches the theme of her birthday party that's coming up...

Taylor the Bookworm

Taylor loves to read all of her books. She sat down and started reading tonight and then she scared us...
She runs around with this book and screams warrrrrrrrrrrrr!!! It's such a cute book and each page has a different animal, but she always has those pages facing her.

She loves this touch and feel book with all of the, "woof-woof"s in it.

Something very exciting happened in this Elmo book, I just couldn't understand what she said. She is at such a cute age right now!
We bought the movie Because of Winn Dixie at Target the other night. Every movie that she likes has a nickname like Stuart Little is called mowf for mouse, Dr. DoLittle is woof woof because of the dog, Beverly Hills Chihuahua is called wawa and now Winn Dixie is just called, "Dix." Hope she doesn't say that in public!

Happy Birthday Nana!

We had a surprise party this weekend for my nana. She had no idea!
The little ones had the most fun. My aunt lives on a golf course, so they ran and played all day. This was before they realized they could run out there.
Then Emma got there and showed them the ropes. It's her grandma's house, so she knows.
She showed Taylor how to chase the big geese...
So cute!
She showed her how to climb trees.
They figured it out fast and they loved it. They thought they were at a giant park that was all theirs. Luckily there were no golfers. They were all doing their own thing here.

Some more love from Emma.
Sweet little Emma.
And I think it was my lucky day because I actually got real smiles a couple of times. I usually get the scrunched up fake smile, but not yesterday.

She's actually mad right here and sat down because she didn't want to walk back to the house. Made for a cute picture though.
Hiding in a little piece of furniture.
And last...birthday cake. We relit the candles a bunch so they could keep blowing them out. Taylor stopped blowing them out and kept digging her fingers in the frosting. She wasn't being sneaky or anything...she just likes frosting and didn't think there was anything wrong with it.

Mmmmm. She loved the cake too.
Taylor was asleep almost instantly in the car from all of the running around she did.
Hope you had a great birthday nana!
