We went on a little bike ride around the neighborhood tonight. We had a very trying afternoon with Taylor today. We just couldn't make our little princess happy for very long. We ended up taking her for a ride and she didn't make a peep, she just looked around and loved being outside. Then she fell asleep! Our neighbors were outside so I had them take a picture of all of us. I took this picture while in motion.

We Got A Bike Trailer
On Sunday we got a new bike trailer. We got the idea from Tawny and Joe because they take Sammy in theirs and she has so much fun. Then we saw that Genn and Jake had one and their friends had one and we wanted one for Taylor. She's still too little to sit in there by herself, but we just put her whole car seat in there and it works pretty good. Of course Gage likes it too and he did the first test run. I think Gage is going to have to ride in the back seat of the trailer or in the basket of my bike when we go somewhere with both of them because the car seat takes up a lot of room. Taylor fell asleep in there the first trip up the street... I think that means she liked it. None of the pictures are in order... this time I thought I did it right, but I guess not. If you look closely you can see Gage's little head in the trailer (and that lovely brown grass).
There she is when we tested her out in there without the car seat. She's got her foot again.
Jimmy putting it together.
Gage and Taylor making sure they both fit.

Taylor Found Her Feet!
On Saturday Taylor discovered that she has feet. It is the cutest thing ever. She holds on to them all the time. She also likes to look at them a lot. I took some pictures the last couple days of her holding her feet.

Almost Rolling Over
Taylor can almost roll over now. She's been getting onto her side for about a month now, but she just can't get all the way over. Part of the problem is she has her thumb in her mouth and that blocks her from getting over because her arm is in the way. She gets on her side and then turns her face into the ground as hard as she can and then she loses it and flies back flat on her back. It all happens really fast, but she's really trying. She does it over and over again when she playing in her little gym. There's where she tries to get over.
Always got that thumb!!

Taylor likes to talk on the phone...
I bought Taylor this little rattle that looks like a phone and she likes to hold onto it because it's little. I put it in her hand and she holds onto to, she doesn't grab it by herself yet. The other day I felt really bad because I put it in her left hand and she sucks her lef thumb, well every time she went to suck her thumb the rattle was in the way and she'd bonk herself with it. She doesn't know how to let go of it on purpose yet. Poor baby! She's going to be just like me and love to talk on the phone.

Taylor's New Trick
So Taylor's newest trick that she is getting very good at is turning herself around in her crib. I put her lying down with her head facing one end and when I go to get her, her head is facing the other direction. I've watched what she does and she rolls on her side then kicks really hard off the side and eventually it turns herself all the way around. Here's some pictures of when she woke up from her morning nap. (Her head started off to the left) One more trick...that is her sleep sack... the arm hole around her thigh? I had taken it off of her when she woke up this morning and hung it over the edge of the crib?? I'm guessing she kicked it down somehow? I won't leave it there anymore!

Playtime
I put Taylor in her saucer this morning and she liked it. We tried once before and she was still too small. But, today she fit and she didn't mind being in there. She doesn't really play with the toys yet, but she stares at them for a long time. She really likes that she can stand in there all by herself. Look at those cute little legs!

Xavs Wedding
We went to Xavs' wedding on Saturday. It was beautiful and there were a lot of friends from high school that I haven't seen since high school. Of course the most fun was showing Taylor to everyone. She was such a good girl all night. I didn't manage to get any pictures of Xavs, but she was a beautiful bride!! There's Taylor in her cute dress. Her first wedding...Jimmy says that started it...she's always going to dream about her wedding now!

3 Months
Here she is...three months already! This picture was actually a lot easier to do the last two months. She is much more aware now. Especially the picture with the dog. It was not possible to get them both to cooperate, and Jimmy was even helping. She notices the dog now and she just wants to stare at him. It's actually kind of cute. Gage was being uncooperative too. He would lay down every time I sat him where I needed him, or he would try to just lean on her... oh well.
So she is doing more things now like making a lot of different noises, rolling over onto her left side really easily (not all the way over yet), tries to stick her fist in her mouth and suck on it, sucks on both of her hands all the time, tries to get herself out of her carseat, screams almost every time we buckle her into the carseat, turns herself around in the crib 180 degrees, screams because she doesn't want anyone but me to hold her sometimes (God I hate that!!! HAHA), makes funny noises with her lips, throws fits when you don't feed her fast enough, and pretty much guarantees us that she will sleep 10 hours straight every night. We are so thankful! She is keeping us on our toes everday, but we love every minute of it. She is starting to be so fun. We definately are never bored with this little baby filling up our time!

4th of July
Fourth of July we had a BBQ at my mom's house. It was pretty relaxing. We ate a lot, swam a little, hung out and then watched fireworks. Taylor was really good all day... she ate and swam and watched fireworks too. The two pregnant girls!
Taylor and her papa.
Watching fireworks with her daddy.
Our first Fourth of July.
