More Valentines...

So, I really copied this idea, but I thought it was so cute! I got the idea here at eighteen25. They have the cutest ideas on that blog.

I started by taking some pictures of her and it was a day where I hadn't planned it out...we just went in our backyard. Most of the time she is wearing princess clothes at home, so that's what she wore. I photoshop-ed some words on it and had them developed.

Then I took an exacto knife and made two little slits and put the lollipop through. They were very easy to make.

We are going to a family party today and she is going to hand them out. I will do this again in the future for sure :)

Taylor's Valentine's

Tonight Taylor and I got a box of Valentine's. I thought she would just like the princess cards and she would play with them. She was very serious about it. I told her to sign the back of them and she could hand them out to her friends.  She sat for about 20 minutes signing every single card, uninterrupted. It was so cute!

I hope you can read that okay...it says, "Love, Taylor."

What I've been up to...

Jury Duty! I am going back tomorrow which will be day 7. I think it's all very interesting and I do like it, but I am also having to keep up with sub plans and keep in touch with everything going on with my real job. It's a lot of work. I don't think the judge or anybody else cares though... he told us the first day, "...someone's gotta do it!" I really am learning a lot. One thing that has been harder is I am driving in bumper to bumper traffic all the way down the 91 in the morning  and I am getting off a lot later than normal...and I already don't have enough time in a day. Oh well.

Recently, I set up a little craft area. Well, I already had a craft area on the floor of our bonus room, but now I have a table...thanks to Kris!

And I actually sewed something. It's not perfect and I don't really know what I am doing yet, but I created this.
