When You Wish Upon a Star...

Taylor will be performing in her very first dance recital next week. We had picture day and dress rehearsal. The song they are dancing to is "When You Wish Upon a Star." It's going to be so cute.

One More Baby!!

We are expecting another little love!

It's been really hard to hold off making this announcement, but finally the Dr. confirmed! We saw the heartbeat and the little tiny bean in there. I have Kaiser and they will not let you go to the Dr. until after 8 weeks and the first available appt was at about 9 1/2 weeks. It's so hard to hold back that long! The baby is due March 1st, so Taylor and the baby will be about a month shy of four years apart. I had always planned on something like that :) I have spent pretty much all of July not feeling like myself. I will be glad to feel good again...hopefully in the near future. 

We are heading out to San Diego for a little vacation tomorrow, so I'm hoping that helps :)

My cousin got married and Taylor was the flower girl. She was such a beautiful bride and the wedding was beautiful.

American Girl

We got invited to go for Taylor's friend Sammy's birthday. It is such a cute place! We had lunch in the restaurant where the dolls sat with us and then we shopped.

She fell in love with the Bitty Baby. I showed her the other dolls and she wasn't too interested. She loves taking care of babies right now.

Her baby had a few names the first day, but she finally stuck with "Baby Chloe." That's the name of my friends little girl :)

She can finally pedal...

It was Mother's Day when Taylor got on her cousin Emma's bike and rode it. She had been trying since Christmas and it just clicked. Now she is all over the neighborhood riding her bike.

Her Rapunzel bike came with a mirror and comb, so every so often, she jumps off of her bike and freshens up :)

Meet Snowball

Snowball is Taylor's new kittly. She's a special kitty though...she's from Toys R Us. She is the most perfect kitty ever. She doesn't shed, or pee, or poop, and she doesn't make me sneeze! I am so alergic to cats! Snowball does purr, meow, and roll over and her back when she wants you to pet her. Taylor loves her kitty.

And Gage is thrilled that he has to share the stroller now!

Easter

We made some Easter treats this year that had M&Ms inside. They were really cute.

We also dyed eggs and turned them in to princesses.

And we did a huge egg hunt from a local church.

Taylor's 3rd Birthday Party

I am going to attempt to catch up. I really want to have everything in my book when I get it made, so I know I need to do this. I just have had no motivation to blog. I don't know why?

This was Taylor's third birthday party and it was Alice in Wonderland theme. She just couldn't get enough of Alice for a while, but I think she is over it now. She is onto being dressed as Rapunzel almost all day long...fully equipped with the wig :) Pictures of that soon.

It was a fun birthday. After everyone left Taylor started telling her daddy all about her Hello Kitty birthday party that she is having next year. We said we need to get through this party first...crazy girl!

Taylor's Actual Birthday

I love that I have been off for all of Taylor birthdays so far. Spring break always falls during that time and I am so thankful! This year Jimmy took the day off and we headed to Disneyland. She wanted to get her hair done like a princess at the Bibbity Bobbity Boutique and she was in heaven there. It was so cute. The place was packed with little girls.

 This was when she woke up and got to open her presents.

This was the fairy godmother that did her all up.

She chose to get the hair do with the long wavy hair.

 With make up of course.

 So, she got to walk around Disneyland looking like a princess all day and she loved it!

 Okay, now don't laugh at her like everyone at Disneyland did. The poof just got bigger and bigger and bigger all day long!!!! I'm pretty sure people thought I was a crazy mom that got her all dolled up for Disneyland. The thing is that I didn't have hairspray to fix it, there was no way that a comb would have gone through that hair, she napped on it, etc. etc. What was I gonna do?

Then, as we were leaving, there was a bunch of kids dancing to music and Taylor isn't going to pass a moment of fun like that. So, she ran around like a wild child out there for a while, with the crazy hair! Oh well, it was her birthday!
