Taylor and Teagan

Jimmy's mom took all of us to Disney on Ice last week. It was a very cute show.Taylor was really excited about it. I made matching shirts for the girls to wear. Well, I sort of made them. I cut the fabric and wonder undered the Minnie head and then my very nice nieghbor put a stitch around the edge for me because I can't sew......YET! That is one thing I am going to learn to do this year. I really, really can't wait to be able to do it myself! The girls were so happy to match and I thought they looked very cute.

Thank you for taking us Toni!

My Friend Mary

Can you see me? I am the one in the back with that big cheesy smile. Right next to me is Mary and next to her is Jenna. This is a picture of us at Disneyland probably like 27 years ago (or something like that). Crazy.

Mary has been such a special friend pretty much since birth. Our moms were pregnant at the same time with us. Actually, our mom's were best friends and were pregnant three times together! We have a special bond. No matter what goes on in our lives or how long we don't have a deep conversation, we can pick up right back where we left off. She joined the Navy after high school and left for a long time. I can remember crying so hard the night she left. I thought she was so brave. We always kept in touch though, even though it wasn't as often. She came back from Virginia to be in my wedding almost five years ago...

It's been a while now since she has moved back. It's been at least four years I think. I was in her wedding last year...
And here is the most exciting part...
Last Monday she welcomed this sweet little baby girl!
Little Miss Chloe...
My mom, sister and I drove down to see her that night because we couldn't wait.
Mary is so happy and proud to be Chloe's mommy.
Such a pretty little baby who only weighed a little over five pounds. She was so tiny.

We are so happy for their new little family. Hopefully our babies will be good friends too!

PS- Chloe was supposed to be born on my birthday but decided to come a little early.

"Santa's No Scary!"

Taylor was very excited to see Santa this year. We waited in line and watched all of the kids go up there. Finally, when it was her turn she ran up there really quickly and then slowed way down once she was about a foot away. She looked at Jimmy and I and she looked a little scared. We stayed with her and chatted with Santa. She was fine. She told him what she wanted and it was just what we thought..., "a pink pillow pet and a purple dress." The lady taking the pictures overheard her and said almost every kid that gets up there says they want a pillow pet. Must be the commercial that plays a million times a day :) So, after she was done, she got off of his lap and ran over to me and said, "Santa's no scary!" It was very cute. Christmas sure was fun with her this year!

Holiday Baking

Some holiday baking fun!
She took her job very serious!
Until we got to the flour for the sugar cookies.
It started with seeing what flour smells like...

and seeing all the cool things you can do with it...

 to trouble really quickly!

She had fun....but her baking ended pretty fast after this mess!

Merry Christmas

I wish all of my friends and family a very Merry Christmas! I will post Santa pics soon!

I don't know if I can officially say this yet... but...potty training has been a success!!!!!!!!! I am so proud of my baby girl!

I got a little stressed last night because she was so busy playing with her cousin  that she had a couple accidents, but today she went the entire day in panties with no accidents (including naptime) :) I think this was the best Christmas present ever!

We are ready for Christmas!

#1-Potty Training is going much better that the last time we tried. She has been very successful the last few days!!!

We are finally ready for Santa...for the most part. I am done shopping, the house is decorated, and I have started baking. I have a few more things I am going to bake in the next couple of days. Here are some of our decorations...
                                                                         Our trees are up...
Our cards are out and I have enjoyed getting cards in the mail everyday...
Some light boxes that I made a few years ago...
                                                                    Stockings are hung...

...and the banister is decorated with garland.

Our new ornaments for this year...

Rapunzel for the movie Tangled that we took Taylor to see and she loved.
                                                           Ballet slippers for starting ballet.

Tinkerbell since Taylor was Tink for Halloween.
and a pretty ornament that isn't new, but looked pretty again this year.

Taylor is very excited for Santa this year. She really wants a "pink pillow pet" and a "purple dress (Rapunzel)." She's easy to please this year :)

She's a Ballerina

She finally went to dance class! She has been wanting to go for a long time but I didn't know where I should take her or where she could go only being 2. There is a brand new little dance studio that opened up right by our house, so it worked out perfect. It's literally about a minute away and just opened this week. We took her and told them it was a trial because we weren't sure if she would really do it and we were wrong! She was all about it. It was so cute to watch.

                                                                      Before we left.
Proud Daddy

Proud Grandma who brought her a Ballet Barbie.
She met a friend.

                                                                          My favorite!
She says she wants to go back again!
