Crafts...

Life is so busy this month. I am on the count down for school to be over! We are in the middle of state testing and then the rest of the year should go really fast, I hope.  These are a couple of random things from this month.

Taylor and her daddy built a little Easter Bunny house. She loves doing crafts and puzzles right now.

After her birthday Jimmy found the house a little taken apart and when he went to fix it, there were cookies stuffed in there. Somebody put their little cookies in there!

I have been learning to sew. I got the sewing machine that my mom gave to me all tuned up and fixed and have been watching a lot of you tube videos and finding a lot of tutorials on blogs.

One of the first things I made was a nice big blanket for Taylor. I find that all of the blankets she has are so little.

Then I made the cutest dinosaur tails for Taylor and Liam and Gavin. They love to pretend they are dinosaurs. Taylor always says that she is a purple dinosaur with wings. Megan (her sitter) has taught them so much about dinosaurs :)

They look cute on...now I just need a picture of that.

How can it be...Taylor is 3!

Oh my goodness...Taylor is 3 tomorrow! I really can't believe it's been that long. She has brought sooooo much love to Jimmy and I and we can't imagine what life would be like without her. I never knew that you could love something so much. She's the reason for our whole world. We just adore her and she is turning into such a big girl. I have so many things I could write about her...but it's hard for me to come up with the words. I just get all teary eyed and don't know what to write. I know she is going to be so excited about her birthday this year. She gets so excited about a lot of things right now. Here are some pictures to describe her right now...

She loves to act silly all the time.
She is so innocent and  I love all the curiosity that she has.
She is very spunky and full of life.
Very fun.

She definitely doesn't want to miss out on anything. She is willing to try everything and especially loves all of the festivities of birthday parties (pinatas, jumpers, cake, singing, etc.).

She's just Taylor.
It's so hard to believe that three years ago tonight we were anxiously awaiting her arrival.

Happy Birthday Sweet Girl!!!

Chuck E. Cheese

We went to a party there yesterday for Taylor's cousin J. He is a really shy little guy. They had this machine that the birthday boy was supposed to go in and when they turn it on it blows a million tickets that they can try to catch. Taylor wanted to go so bad that they ended up letting Taylor go in J's place. The worker said that someone should go with her so she doesn't get scared, but she wanted no part of that. She told Jimmy, "No dad, I am going by myself." it was so funny!

The worker tucked Taylor's shirt in and told her to stick her tickets in her shirt when she caught them. So after the machine stopped and she could see again ... She grabbed a ticket and stuck it in her shirt. She follows directions well. :)

Taylor...AKA Alice

Well, let's just say that Taylor has a small obsession with Alice in Wonderland right now! She is dressed up as Alice for most of the day and sometimes tells me, "Don't call me Taylor mom, call me Alice." She has also decided that we are having an Alice birthday party and she can't wait...and I can't either :)

More Valentines...

So, I really copied this idea, but I thought it was so cute! I got the idea here at eighteen25. They have the cutest ideas on that blog.

I started by taking some pictures of her and it was a day where I hadn't planned it out...we just went in our backyard. Most of the time she is wearing princess clothes at home, so that's what she wore. I photoshop-ed some words on it and had them developed.

Then I took an exacto knife and made two little slits and put the lollipop through. They were very easy to make.

We are going to a family party today and she is going to hand them out. I will do this again in the future for sure :)
