We went on a little bike ride around the neighborhood tonight. We had a very trying afternoon with Taylor today. We just couldn't make our little princess happy for very long. We ended up taking her for a ride and she didn't make a peep, she just looked around and loved being outside. Then she fell asleep! Our neighbors were outside so I had them take a picture of all of us. I took this picture while in motion.

We Got A Bike Trailer
On Sunday we got a new bike trailer. We got the idea from Tawny and Joe because they take Sammy in theirs and she has so much fun. Then we saw that Genn and Jake had one and their friends had one and we wanted one for Taylor. She's still too little to sit in there by herself, but we just put her whole car seat in there and it works pretty good. Of course Gage likes it too and he did the first test run. I think Gage is going to have to ride in the back seat of the trailer or in the basket of my bike when we go somewhere with both of them because the car seat takes up a lot of room. Taylor fell asleep in there the first trip up the street... I think that means she liked it. None of the pictures are in order... this time I thought I did it right, but I guess not. If you look closely you can see Gage's little head in the trailer (and that lovely brown grass).
There she is when we tested her out in there without the car seat. She's got her foot again.
Jimmy putting it together.
Gage and Taylor making sure they both fit.

Taylor Found Her Feet!
On Saturday Taylor discovered that she has feet. It is the cutest thing ever. She holds on to them all the time. She also likes to look at them a lot. I took some pictures the last couple days of her holding her feet.

Almost Rolling Over
Taylor can almost roll over now. She's been getting onto her side for about a month now, but she just can't get all the way over. Part of the problem is she has her thumb in her mouth and that blocks her from getting over because her arm is in the way. She gets on her side and then turns her face into the ground as hard as she can and then she loses it and flies back flat on her back. It all happens really fast, but she's really trying. She does it over and over again when she playing in her little gym. There's where she tries to get over.
Always got that thumb!!

Taylor likes to talk on the phone...
I bought Taylor this little rattle that looks like a phone and she likes to hold onto it because it's little. I put it in her hand and she holds onto to, she doesn't grab it by herself yet. The other day I felt really bad because I put it in her left hand and she sucks her lef thumb, well every time she went to suck her thumb the rattle was in the way and she'd bonk herself with it. She doesn't know how to let go of it on purpose yet. Poor baby! She's going to be just like me and love to talk on the phone.

Taylor's New Trick
So Taylor's newest trick that she is getting very good at is turning herself around in her crib. I put her lying down with her head facing one end and when I go to get her, her head is facing the other direction. I've watched what she does and she rolls on her side then kicks really hard off the side and eventually it turns herself all the way around. Here's some pictures of when she woke up from her morning nap. (Her head started off to the left) One more trick...that is her sleep sack... the arm hole around her thigh? I had taken it off of her when she woke up this morning and hung it over the edge of the crib?? I'm guessing she kicked it down somehow? I won't leave it there anymore!

Playtime
I put Taylor in her saucer this morning and she liked it. We tried once before and she was still too small. But, today she fit and she didn't mind being in there. She doesn't really play with the toys yet, but she stares at them for a long time. She really likes that she can stand in there all by herself. Look at those cute little legs!
