Fun with the Baby Stroller

This weekend we took Taylor to walk her new baby stroller from her Grandma and Papa. There is too much frustration wtih trying to push it in the house because it gets stuck on EVERYTHING! We went and had lunch at Fridays and then walked around the lake at Dos Lagos. We had never been on that walk, but I had seen it on a few blogs and it looked very pretty...thanks Genn (she's one of them) :). It was really pretty and Taylor had so much fun. It was one of those times where we were having so much fun watching her have so much fun. She loved pushing the stroller, seeing all of the woof woofs (dogs), the water, the birds, and the rocks. She smiled and said hi to everyone. I wish she were this excited all the time. It was sooo cute!

These were the babies that were lucky enough to come with us. One is
"pippo" and the other is "baby Gage." Those are her favorite right now.

She did really good steering it and manuevering it. A couple of times Jimmy put his hand on the stroller to help her direct it and she would stop and take his hand right back off. Her favorite saying right now is, "I do it!" That happens all day every day.

Every few minutes she checked on the babies. It was so cute...they even got kisses some of the time.

We got to the water and she quick got pippo out to see the water. It was probably the cutest thing ever. Then she put him back and got baby Gage out to do the same thing.

This was the second time around. She got them out again and then sat on the ground. She tried to sit in his lap.
One time when she had her hippo out she took his hand and made him wave to people and say hi.

She's showing baby Gage what Gage does with his tongue. Our dog always has his tongue out and she likes to imitate him.
It's fun to watch your baby have so much fun!
I brought my camera thinking I would try a to get a cute picture and I got a ton. Doesn't it always work out like that! Good thing I had my camera.

...a neigh + a moo + a cockle doodle doo...

The birthday party! It was so much fun. I spent a lot of time planning and making things for it, but I love to do this kind of stuff. I wanted to have an animal party because Taylor had so much fun at one back in September, but none of the farm stuff was very "girly." I created all of my own so that it would be what I liked.
The invite.

I ordered the cutest little doll from Carol at http://weecutetreasures.blogspot.com/ Now the doll is on a shelf in her room as a little keepsake of her second birthday.

The cupcake picks matched the party. DO NOT ever buy Sam's club cupcakes that have black frosting...it's a nightmare!

I created the banner and got it printed on photo paper and then cut them out and strung them together. The white bags I had to make cow print on them because I couldn't find any that were already made that didn't have red on them.
The petting zoo was a hit. The animals were so cute...especially the little pig who slept most of the day away.

I owe a lot of people thank you's for helping me that day. THANK YOU!

Field of Flowers

I mostly spent the week planning Taylor's birthday, but we did squeeze in some fun too. My sister and I went to the Flower Fields and it was BEAUTIFUL. Picture taking was rough, but I got a few cute ones I think.

Some nice man asked if I wanted a picture with Taylor...and she didn't look at the camera.

Tired and bored. She didn't want any more pictures or flowers.

Easter

This is a little late. We have had a very busy this week. Things are back to business tomorrow. I'm sad. I didn't want to forget to post Easter because I want it to be in my blog book for this year.

We dyed some Easter eggs, but unfortunately Taylor had a bad cold and wasn't feeling up to it. She just wanted to go lay down. I managed to get a few pictures in the few minutes she was interested.

This was the weekend that I rented a lens that the Momtog Blog had mentioned. Poor Taylor was sick and was in no picture taking kind of mood. I didn't really get to play to much, but it seemed like it had a lot of potential :) Maybe I will rent it again someday. The one thing that  I really loved was that you could be inches away from something and it would focus and take.

I also liked that you did not have to back up to get a big background.
Jimmy still finished the eggs for her and she did eat most of them. She likes hard boiled eggs. She says it more like "eye-gs."

The Easter Bunny came and delivered an Elmo basket to our house. She was SOOOO excited!

Even little Elmo eggs that she had to kiss.

Then we went over to my Mom and Rob's where the family got together.
This is what we get for telling her to smile.

Our little family.

Nana brought a pinata.

She was not really into the eggs once she found out there was candy in them. She just wanted the candy inside.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TAYLOR!!

I know I'm a day late, but I was having some blogging issues which were my own issues not blogger (thanks Genn and Tawny). Sometimes I expect things to be much harder than they are.

On to the birthday...

She's two! It really makes me very happy and excited, but a part of me is really sad. She's two, she's so cute right now, and she's never gonna be this age again. I know we have a lot of fun years to come too, but it's still sad how fast time goes.

Here she was just two short years ago...

My first time holding my precious baby.

I laugh because I feel like she has always been a bit of a screamer...just like the moment she was born. Same face expression too!

One year later...

This was a couple days after she turned one...just taking steps.
Her first cake!

And then she turned 2.

I took her to a little cupcake shop after her nap. We had quite the adventure getting down there, but she really enjoyed her cupcake. That's all that mattered. (I won't tell you about how she screamed the whole trip down and gagged herself and threw up on the cute birthday shirt!)
Such a cute shop.

We had to throw pennies in the water before we left. I'm not sure who taught her this, but she kisses each one with a "muh-wah" before she throws them in. It's pretty cute.

This was her first delivery...balloons and bagels from grandma. Thanks mom!

She also got her first bouquet of flowers from Nana and Bob. Nana told us that she can never say she got her first flowers from a boy...she got them from her great grandma and grandpa. Thanks Nana and Bob!

Sorry...long post!
We ended up going ot John's Incredible pizza with the Lorge's and Paino's. It was a lot of fun.

Taylor says thanks for all the calls and texts and deliveries for her birthday! She loved all of them :)
Happy Birthday Sweet Girl!

Am I crazy...

Blogger is being so wierd. When I go to post there are only five things in the tool bar. No place to add pictures? Is anyone else having this problem? I have important things to post!

Easter Bunny

She was all about the Easter Bunny!
Poor Gavin...not so much!
It's rare that we get a picture of them together though.
