Bath Time

I haven't taken pictures of Taylor in the bath in very long time. She is very busy in the bath now and tries to stay in for as long as she can. Here is how tonight went...

She's such a little girl now.

Don't mind all of the bruises and scrapes on her face. You would think she's abused, but really she falls a lot! The scratch happened during her nap this morning???

It's so funny to fling bubbles all over the bathroom according to Taylor.

She drinks bath water.

Kisses for her princess ducky.

Kisses for herself.

Bath for her ducky.

She loves to read books in the bath too.

I had to throw in some cute baby buns!

I took this without my LightScoop to see the difference. There is a big one. I can't wait until some of you get a LightScoop because it's kind of hard to figure out. I did all of the suggested settings and my pictures come out almost completely black. Then I switch my camera to auto and they come out much better but sometimes a little too dark, sometimes a little too blue, and sometimes they are just right. I am going to keep playing because I like what it does it just doesn't happen every time.

Those are sweet pictures Amy. I LOVE the one of her kissing herself with the reflection in the silver ring! I am thinking about getting the scoop too. Genny got hers and I will see how she likes it first. Oh, she ordered it, but hasn't gotten it yet.

Cute pics! I love the hair in the last one! I thought it would be easy! Now I'm gonna count on you to figure it out to tell me! What if you do your normal settings but set the flash exposure at +1 since it needs to be stronger because it's bouncing it? I have a speedlight but I just do manual and do whatever aperture I want, then set the shutter as low as I can get away with, and in manual the flash compensates for the rest, but that won't do that so maybe you need to just set it as stronger?? You'll figure it out, just give it time. Then you can post a tutorial on that for us too lol! I love the baby buns!

Great pics. I love the one of her kissing herself with her reflection showing too. The lightscoop really does make a big difference. I am nervous now that you said it's tricky sometimes. The photog on momtog made it sound soooo simple! I guess I will see...

Look how LONG her hair is?! Wow!!!
Her poor head, is that from that day in at the pool you were talking about?! Hey, it happens...not like it's bothering her now :)
